Can You Say “Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor”?

Posted by italco on July 1, 2010

“President Obama said Thursday that the U.S. immigration system “offends our most basic American values” and blamed Republican opposition for thwarting crucially needed change.
It was the third time in as many days that Obama singled out Republicans as an obstructionist force, blaming them in his earlier appearances for defending oil giant BP in the aftermath of the Gulf Coast oil spill and for opposing stronger financial regulatory legislation.

The president’s remarks this week represented the clearest preview yet of the message the White House intends to highlight in this year’s midterm election: Republicans’ stubborn refusal to help solve national problems.” http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-obama-immigration-20100702,0,6120193.story

Back in January of this year, I wrote an article called “2010 In Da House” https://italco.wordpress.com/2010/01/02/2010-in-da-house/

The article describes the hispanic and minority vote effect on the 2010 elections. It also factors in the influence Sarah Palin would have on the outcome. It will be interesting to see if these factors hold true….

If only Utah had strong Democrat Candidates that could reach out to their minority voters and hear their side of the “Immigration Reform Bill”.

Can they forgive the GOP for their party line “NO” vote against Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor?

Don’t take their vote for granted!!

It would be one thing if the hispanics just favored one candidate over the other…but to have an entire race stand up and fight against your party…I wouldn’t want to be a republican cadidate in this election.
